Helping improve strength, flexibility, mobility, and control to perform everyday activities better. 

Functional movements train our muscles to work together, preparing them for daily tasks by simulating everyday activities that you might do at home, at work, or in sports. When using various muscles in the upper and lower body simultaneously, functional fitness exercises emphasize better core stability and control.

CULTIVATING ATHLETICISM

My classes can be used alongside your primary sport and help cultivate athleticism and avoid injury. The sessions can fit between general strength and sports-specific conditioning.

The training philosophy involves:

  • Training for better core stability to facilitate the transfer of power better

  • Training to enhance balance, coordination, and agility

  • Training range of motion to prevent injury and create more opportunities for performance

  • Focussing on “prehabilitation” to prevent injury
